Privacy & Cookies
Creatine Science is an informational website. We aim to collect as little data as reasonably possible, and we do not sell personal information.
What we collect
We use limited traffic, performance, and interaction measurements to understand whether pages are working and how visitors use the site. You do not need to create an account to use this site, and we do not use analytics data for ad targeting.
Evidence assistant
If you choose to use the evidence assistant, your question and the limited conversation context needed to answer it are sent to our configured artificial-intelligence inference provider. The assistant is restricted to this site’s published evidence. We do not put the text of your question into analytics events, and the website does not save the full conversation in your browser after the page session ends.
Do not include medical records, account credentials, or other sensitive personal information in a question. The assistant provides general information and is not a private clinical or emergency service.
Email choices
After an answer, you may optionally provide an email address so we can send the cited source links. That one-time message is transactional and does not subscribe you to research updates. We send a neutral source summary rather than the raw chat transcript.
If we offer a separate, unchecked option for Creatine research updates, it will require its own confirmation. Update consent and withdrawal are maintained separately for this website. Our related science websites may use one shared email delivery account, but each site has its own preference. Leaving one site’s updates does not enroll or remove you from another site. You can use the unsubscribe link in an update email to withdraw that site-specific choice.
We use Resend to deliver these messages and process delivery events such as bounces and complaints. Your email address and the content needed to deliver the message are therefore processed by Resend. Email choice is separate from the analytics-cookie setting below.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Web Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to understand site traffic, performance, and how visitors interact with our pages.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, GA4 uses Advanced Consent Mode with analytics storage denied by default. Before you accept analytics cookies, GA4 may send limited measurements without analytics cookies. Microsoft Clarity is not loaded unless you accept analytics cookies.
If you accept, GA4 may store analytics cookies. Microsoft Clarity may also use cookies to provide behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replays that help us understand how visitors use the site and identify usability or performance problems.
For visitors outside those regions, GA4 and Microsoft Clarity are enabled by default unless you reject analytics cookies. If you reject, we instruct GA4 and Clarity that analytics storage is denied and attempt to remove existing analytics cookies. GA4 may continue sending measurements without analytics cookies. If Clarity was already loaded, it may continue limited tracking in no-consent mode without Clarity cookies until the page is reloaded.
We use GA4 and Clarity only for site analytics, performance measurement, and site improvement. We keep Google advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad-personalization consent denied. We do not use these services for advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling.
Microsoft Clarity is configured to mask text and form inputs that could contain sensitive information. We verify this configuration separately for each site before Clarity is enabled.
Vercel Web Analytics measures page traffic without third-party cookies and reports aggregated usage information. Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous site-performance measurements that are not associated with an individual visitor. These Vercel services operate independently of your GA4 and Clarity analytics-cookie choice.
You can change your analytics-cookie choice at any time using the controls below. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Some links on this site point to Amazon. When you click one and visit Amazon, Amazon’s own privacy policy and cookies apply to your activity there. We may receive aggregate, non-personal reporting about qualifying purchases through the Amazon Associates Program; we do not receive your name, address, or payment details.
Contacting us
Automated source and update emails are not a monitored support mailbox. If we add a monitored contact address, we will list it here.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The current version always appears on this page.
